Using the Microsoft Teams downloadable app has been a great source for collaborating on class projects. You can use the chat window in Teams to have quick conversations with your colleagues.

If a file needs shared, you can attach it to the chat. You are able to do a call or video calls during meetings. It is very compatible to other Microsoft programs

Audacity is a free, easy-to-use audio editor and recorder. If you are interested in recording music or converting audio files, Audacity has what you may need. I found it very easy to record and edit my material. You may need to watch a couple of how to videos before trying, they have some good tips.
